KOKOU RIDING CENTER was established some
years ago by a couple of French Canadians . Their horses are well
tamed Greek horses with average height of 1.5 meters , accustumed
to the climate and the hard terrain . They use english and
western tack , but if a specific tack is required , please let us
know .
During the
summer season usually there are 3 rides : morning , afternoon and
sunset rides . In the begining and the end of the season there
are 2 rides . Groups up to 15 persons or tours on request are
welcome . Rides are always guided by an escort . Long pants and
sneakers are recommended . Languages spoken are English , French
and Greek .
MORNING RIDES Join us for unforgettable rides on sandy dunes and deserted beaches . Taking the time to stop for a drink , don't bring your watch , time does not count ... It is the only ride that takes place on the beach and it lasts aproximately 3 hours .
AFTERNOON For those who can't wake up in the morning . Not available on hot days .
EVENING Come with us for the sunset tour and enjoy the cool breeze of the late afternoon . Perfect for kids (minimum 7 years old) and for beginners . Experienced welcome for an easy and enjoyable ride .
